Small scale sustainability
Staying at a Bennebroek B&B means staying in a house normally occupied by a family. No extra space, concrete, furniture, or electrical appliances are used for your stay! Everything is used by a local family more than 300 days a year.
How sustainable is that compared to a hotel where everything is reserved for tourists, or—worse yet—a house that’s unoccupied for most of the year?

The garden has two tall trees that provide shade on hot days. The cool breeze from the water naturally cools the house.
Most of the rainwater that falls on the roof is directed to the garden.
All our furniture, bedding, towels and electrical appliances are selected to last.
